Petromaritime Consulting offers a broad based consulting and engineering service to the commercial shipping industry and to the offshore oil & gas industry.
FPSO / FSO systems design, construction and operation is the specifica area of expertise based on extensive experience equally balanced between the marine industry and the oil & gas industry.
The mission is to provide an independent expert counsel to ship owners, shipyards, engineering firms, offshore contractors, offshore operators and oil companies, as well as to the financial institutions and legal firms.
Based on the proven track record in designing, engineering, construction and operation of FPSO and FSO units and other offshore vessels, the specific area of expertise is application of vessels in the offshore oil & gas production. This segment of the oil business is, by all indicators, set to expand exponentially over the coming years and Petromaritime Consulting is well positioned to support present and future Clients in the execution of these projects.
It is the aim of Petromaritime Consulting to assist Clients with customised consulting service, from transient support in solving a particular problem to full-time advisory role in complete project engineering, execution and operations management.
Petromaritime Consulting provides the Clients with advice & assistance in the following:

- Feasibility & viability studies, research studies and
conceptual designs;
- Design appraisals and reviews, project reviews, plan
approvals in shipbuilding;
- Cost analysis and cost estimates, investment and opportunity
costs, operating budgets;
- Surveys and condition assessment of all types of vessels,
evaluation of vessel suitability for offshore applications and ship life
extension programmes;
- Business development and support to Client's sales &
marketing activities;
- Assistance in operation of ships and offshore production and
storage vessels.
In addition, with our associated resources, we assist in selection and acquisition of vessels and in contracting new-buildings, providing all the necessary commercial and technical support. Through our network of shipyards, service companies, vendors and engineering specialists, we can also provide design and engineering assistance for commercial vessels and FPSO / FSO units.
